Re: 76 series auto conversion
I am now looking at keeping the 76, but it needs the POS midgets clutch pedal and box of spanners gone ASAP. The main issue is the tiny foot well with my size 12 feet, as there is no room beside the clutch. City driving is terrible, and I am doing it at least once a week for most of the day. Does ...

Re: CCDA external roll cage rules
Building an internal cage for ccda spec is better and then have the nb pipe exo has if you get to bad a dent in the exo and its your only cagethey can stop you from competing until the piece is replaced

Re: Tuff Truck 2014 :-)
I'm with Johnsey (first time for everything). Myself being one of the scrutineers & knowing Pip & Tim well, I got the heads up from Pip that he was going to use the rules to his advantage. He had a crapload if paperwork for me when he rocked up & like he said to me, don't look for 51% or 81 ...

Definitely a sad day for the NSW comp scene. Toperi was the best event bar none. A Chris said you would never have known such a professional event could be run by such a small group of people. Hopefully Toperi can make a come back. Thanks to Tony and Penny for the use of their backyard over the last ...

Re: Emptying radiator contents into oil in approx 2 mins ???
Thanks very much for the info everyone. I am trying to salvage the 22r, by fixing or replacing as needed, as I simply don't have the cash to do a conversion on it at the moment. The less spent fixing it to get 6 to 12 month out of it, the more money that gets set aside for conversion time. Thanks ...

Re: Baby seat in patrol single cab
You can have them in the front as there are no other seats available. single cab Ute obviously there isn't. You will need a mounting plate fitted to the rear wall. Your best bet is to contact Little's at Black town as they will tell you what is needed and they can fit it.

There are crab bars but there are other options. The simple dual cab device which is basically the same as the ones in MK's photo. They are pretty cheap. I know Littles has a huge range of approved mounts for a lot of different vehicles

Re: Dual cab child restraint anchor points
As Mark said try Littles at Blacktown as they have fitted child seats to everything!
You might need what is called a dual cab device. Some bolt thru the rear wall some bolt over the rear window. Be warned they can be pricey!

Re: CCDA external roll cage rules
I think the chassis rule could go BUT only if the body rule was very strict! It must look like a bodied rig not a buggy with some flat sheet skinning it. It works for Nascar and V8 supercars. If only it was as easy as Supercar/Nascar ;) With both them style cars, all are basically the same chassis ...

Re: Bleeding CNC cutting brakes.
Can you clamp the rear brake line and try and see if the pedal improves?
That should eliminate the cutting brakes if they are good. If no improvement there could be air still in them.
the other thing is the master cylinder could be the wrong size for your patrol brakes
