a mate has em on all corners of his landcruiser. its seen a bit of road, but bugger all. they've never been setup properly, so cant really give ya any feedback how they handle the road after a while my thing has em on the rear, i initially set them up hard as hell, and it drove sweet on the road ...

When I rang up Narva, they quoted the retail price of about $35 each for the sealed globe ones and to get them from Repco (Rip Every Poor C#@t Off)

I drove past a truck place which I hadn't seen before down Wollongong way and I got them for $25 each..... Nice!!!

The only downside to this style of light that isnt LED is that when a globe blows you have to replace the whole unit because it is sealed. Crap - I didn't realise that, so if you get the LED's and when they die can you replace them?? Narva wanted about $40 each light for the globe versions. Mmmm ...

Does anyone know where I can get some of these rear lights from, I don't want LED as there more expensive, semi trailers have them with normal globes, but I can't find anyone who stocks them or what brand they are?!

I just wouldn't mind a auto again as I've always had autos in my last two 4WD's. It makes it easier over the tricky stuff.

I've just bought a 91 Sierra with a G13BB engine, running what I believe is a Sierra 5-speed gearbox with a Sierra transfer case with some sort series 'Rockhopper' gears. How much trouble would it be and how expensive would it be to put a Jimny auto box in? Is it worth it? Would the Sierra transfer ...

Use a vacuum cleaner to suck the leaves out of the vents inside and out side between the bonnet and the windscreen.

I'm insured with ARB Insurance in Melbourne - it's done through a broker called DGA Insurance. They cover roll overs and all mods including fridges etc..... I highly recommend them ph: 1800 800 471.
