Has any body tried 2 or 3 single link bars instead of welding them together
say 1 on the top of the diff and 2 on either side lower down

I`ve got a sun roof it dosnt leak and is cooler cause it sucks in air and when you park it I leave it slightly open and the car is cool and I can take the glass out when I go shooting and spoting.

they can bend 4mm but you will get dints and kinks in the pipe
better of buying the bends they look better they come 90deg and 45 deg and you can cut them to what ever angle you want also can buy notched but joints

buy them for Metalland or some place similiar $8

bog the dints before you spray the bar work

use a hair drier and a big razor blade that works

theres was a set in the for sale section with pics

have a look at the rear leaves then have a look at the cable it sits above the leaves about 1/2" so if you get 2" lift blocks the cable wont refit again

and if youv`e allready got a lift and your getting blocks make sure there cut on a angle

and you will need spacers for the tailshaft

I thought harnesses were crap how do you put your head out of the window to see were your wheels are if your straped in

The 82 hilux I got has a perspex rear window and its gone pooy brown and skanky looking from the sun

84-88 .you can use some of the parts of the 79-83
headlights, diff centres (4.875),front part of the hand brake cable,radiator (petrol),
front cv`s, rims,drums,calipers and rotor ass,maybe the leafs,horn and globes and fuses I spose.

get 3" blocks in the rear you won`t have the hand brake cable problem or 2 1/5" might clear it

and buy a grease gun you need it

buy the safari top and go custom

I`m looking for a tow rig, I was wondering if this conversion was a success. I`ll be using it for towing aswell as a my daily driver
What should I look for ,ect. rear diff swap, brake booster,gear box
its a 76 model

is it at the same place as nissan trials

run it along your chassis rail and keep the eye bolts as far apart as you can .and you will get friction from cable or plasma

is this the same with hiluxs are they interchangable

can I use a tie rod end instead of a treg link or jonny joint
