Also with highly convergent links you, again really need to have symetrical links...otherwise the lifting AS force will lift one side of the vehicle more than the other...again making it handle funny under brakes. I would almost guess that is you were going to run an unsymetrical link setup you ...

The AS value for the stock radius arms would be a good starting point to consider...so in a 3 link setup that would be upper and lower links converging at the radius arm chassis mount bush. I would imagine the AS value of the stock radius arms would be very high...and this seems to work well on road ...

Just buy longer bolts with the shank length you want then cut the end off to get the overall length right.

So does the system still work...does it cool the air properly? up to when the compressor locks. If it didnt have any oil it would lock once and that would be the end of it. It sounds to me that it could be getting liquid back to the inlet of the compressor causing it to hydraulic and stop. The TX ...

Do I have this right? The load leveller acts like a tension spring that tries to make the whole car-trailer system "arch its back" with the towball rising up? like this exaggerated diagram I made suggests: http://i211.photobucket.com/albums/bb109/anthropoidape/loadleveller.jpg Is that right? I ...

so it is not really distributing weight to the front or forward of the rear wheels \ axis but rather re distributing the towball weight back to the trailer rather than applying excess weight over the towball. Its safe to say that 200kg over the tow point = far more effective weight due to the lever ...

Enter the Load Leveler So again, I understand why you would want to throw the weight evenly over the tow vehicle, but unless the point of contact of the weight is past the axis, how does it do what we are wanting it to do? Its not an easy concept to explain...I think Scott is doing a very good job ...
