Question on new V8 Cruiser ute?

Sorry this has probably been discussed on here before but i do not read the Toyota section and could spend all day trying to find it. My question is. Does the new V8 ute have the same front diff as its previous model which i think is the 79 series? Was the front end made wider to fit the new V8 in ...

No offence to Marks adaptors but source your own surge tank and lift pump. I also have done the conversion with Nissan 5spd and most people i spoke to told me this. It is cheaper and you end up with a bigger surge tank.

What about the Pootrol Coil Rears bending Chassis Rails? Has there been a thread on that? Hahahaha well a bit of bracing can fix this. Bit easier than rebuilding a motor hey. And isnt it funny that Toyota dont even have a full coil option on the utes. Awesome them new v8 dsl's lol. Property owners ...

Just make sure that if you do get a new v8 cruiser after the Nissan blows up, carry lots of spare oil and a spare motor cause you will need it.

I went down this road and in the end i wish i just bought one built already. Then you can add your little touches as you go along. The money and time you will spend is just plain crazy and even worse if you cant do most of the work yourself. Just buy one that has been raced.

A friend of mine owns a exhaust and intercooler shop and advised me not to wrap the headers on my ute (304 injected 5lt) as it would rust them out in no time at all. And i have seen this same stuff rust out motorcycle exhausts real fast as i am a Motorcycle mechanic and have replaced systems due to ...

Young man yes and learning more yes. You seem to have a bit of a ego problem and a very rude manner to go with it "old man". I do appologise for questioning your envolvement in the off road scene and in no way did i want to raise your blood pressure. And you are correct i am not a expert, but you do ...
