Take some pick's of your rig with the standard springs in , then take the same shot with the 55 springs. This will show just how much more wheelbase you will acheive. I have had no time what so ever to work on this thing and now that i have returned the rims and tyres to my mate it looks sad ...

Thanks fellas. The plans are to lift it slightly more and relocate the rear diff back, coils would be the go just have to plan this properly and get it done. Hi all i have a small issue with my cut down FJ40 .
The rear tyres hit the cab when flexing.
My question is what have people found to be the best sollution for relocating the rear diff back.
Any help / advice would be great.

Just wondering if any one has had any experience with the replacement kit's for the 2f lancruiser distributors.
Looking a the one's from america but was wondering if any one does them here in Aus .
Any pointers on getting rid of the points and contacts would be great.

Need some help with carby set up on 2F. It is a Toyota 2barel carby wich come out on the 2F, i have a old manuel and it is the carby ilistrated . Ok have just about finished restoring my FJ 40 and have replaced the fuel tank with one of the one's that fit behind the rear diff, now i cant get it started . I dont seem to be able to get any fuel up to the carby ( 2F motor ) Does any one have any pic's / idea wich pipe goes were as i cant figure ...

Just been offerd some 75 seiries diff's.
Question is are they the same as my 1978 FJ40 diff's.
Can i swap the diff's over complete housing and centres . ( spring perches same etc etc )
