Thanks for the tips guys. AS it happens luck is on my side. Bought some gasket goo the other day to use on the diff face when re-doing it (cost $12, new gasket from repco is $45) Anyway after degreasing and cleaning it appeared oil was coming from under one of the nuts. Was tight but took it off and ...

Removing rear diff centre?
Hi Guys, The main seal in my rear diff is leaking and would like to replace it. Has anyone here done this before? Is it relatively easy? I know I will have to remove the axel shafts before I can take the centre out. Do you have to take them all the way out or can you just pull them out a few inches ...

Hahaha, Ok, I'll bite!!! "If your shocks were doing a good job, you shouldn't be bouncing around the cabin too much." If you were 4wding where we went you wouldn't be making this comment. Average rock size was the size of a sherrin and many steps and much larger rocks thrown in. We were driving over ...

I have Blueriders in my Paj and think they are excellent. Local 4wd place said they sell over 12 per month and never had one come back. Think they cost me about 120 each and mechanic reckoned (also our local ARB rep) you need to spend over $300 to get something better. Who knows? I don't know a real ...

Squeaky Drive belt...
Hi Guys, Maybe you have come across this before, I will explain.... Bought my Paj a while ago, had a squeaky drive belt, no big deal, took it to a fairly large 4x4 place near me and it was sorted by a mechanic that worked for Mitsu for 10 years. Anyway he said its common for Pajeros to have noise in ...

Leaking coolant
Hi All, Hoping someone may have something to add here. My 92 Pajero uses about 3-400 mls of water everytime I drive it, doesn't matter if its a 15min or 3hour drive always uses the same and just gets lower and lower progressively. Only seems to disappear after it has been left overnight and then ...
