im not sure id prob like to go petrol on gas.
i dont want it too rough i dont mind the odd dent or scrape,not a rust bucket shitter tho...
it would be used mainly for rocks and big tough trails i guess..the usual stuff that u get at appin or lithgow.

g'day,
i am interested in getting an 80series.
I primarily want it for offroad use on the weekend so big lift,big tyres etc
but i want the majority of the work already done.
Looking at maybe spending just over 10k (ino it would be rough but it would just get rougher)
What kinds of mods should i be ...

g'day all,
bit new to the toyota chapter..
anyway im lookin at getting a LN65,turbo diesel with most of the work done so i dont have to stuff around building it (already had the zook xperience- over it)
What kind of things should i be looking for when i search for the lux?
eg:
lift -springs ...

Is there any thing i can do to achieve any more height.ive alredy done shackles,springs,body lift...
i dont want to do a virtual lift..
Is there anything i can do to move my diff forward anymore than just re-drilling the spring perches? (with driveshaft spacer)

this may sound like a stupid question but by fitting TRANSFER CASE gears,does it affect driving in 2wd??
and why is it that all the websites have diffent prices for 6.5 gears? lowrange want $475 but OVERKILL want near $1000??
could u reccomend a good place to buy?what price is exoected for 6.5's?

its like a heat shield on ur exhaust manifold,worx the same way.jus keeps the majority of the heat in 1 area.
yes there mostly artermarket.

Ok i recently i purchased a diff from 'scott1482 '
i was told all my numbers should match up and the diff would be fine.
I TOTALLY OVERHAULED the diff spending $375 not inclucing the diff.
Now on thursday nyt i pulled the centre out and immediatly realised the center was verry different,at 1st ...

Take it to an engine specialist,tell them whats it doin an the'll prob tell you straight up what the go is. eg: Penrith Engine Services

I REALY just wanna go 16b but the fu*kers down at the wreckers want 1850 for an engine!!! AND LAST WEEK IT WAS 1500 , a few weeks before:1250!! not long before that 1100!!!! wtf is goin on!! they told me "oh there getting harder to find" - what since last week??? if any one knows of 1 goin cheap ...

yer ill prob just leave the engine mostly standard.prob jus regrind the cam or summin not too extreme,just want a bit more get up and go than the old 1.3,the reason im stayin carby is that the cheapest g16b i can find is $1500 and ino if i can get a g16a cheap i will rebuild it for cheaper than that ...

well u see my rear diff is really noisy cos i sunk it,i did change the oil a week later but was still loud,if its that loud wouldnt my side couplings (spider gears) be fukd also?
