had another look today, all wiring seems to be fine. Engine fires then stalls. getting fuel and spark. if u hold it full throttle in keeps running for a bit. blows a fair bit off black smoke. was thinking that maybe air flow meter is no good. Bought engine out of another patrol but never saw it ...

thanks mate, i put a relay in but it was the skyline pin not the vlt fuel pump pin. hopefully thats the problem, will check in the morning. thanks for the help!

Put a vl turbo motor into a rb30 gq patrol. Uesed a r31 skyline wiring loom, with vl turbo ecu. hooked up ea fuel pump into tank. wired ecu with crank signal, constant power and ignition. just wondering if there was anything that i couldn't think off. thanks for the help. I was planning on using 40mm rhs spacers with the standard mounts. i've only broken 2 in a couple of years, and they have usaully torn out when the transfer got hooked on something. i usaully back off a bit when i get traction.

Hi, I'm lifting my transfer case up, I have a lwb 1 litre chassis. It's a 1.3 5 speed, with a 1.3 transfer. Picture below is how I have modified the chassis for the front drive shaft. i work in an lpg workshop. i think the biggest problem with a seirra on gas, is finding a spot for the tank. i've got a long wheel base so there is a lot of room. but in a swb, it is very limited to how much gas u would be able to hold. the under bonnet stuff is easy.

i notice at the weekend my oil pressure would drop at high revs then my temp would go straight up. i run penrite hpr30. my turbo oil feed is of a t-piece on the oil pressure switch feed. my oil pressure gauge is a cheap electric one but it was dropping to about 10psi. i will put a master gauge on it ...

over heating on wighway

my suzuki is overheating at speed over 80km/h. my intercooler is in front of radiator.

i have gemini radiator been flushed, new water pump, magna thermo, standard fan doesn't fit.

doesn't get hot in bush, just on road.

bonnet above turbo is to hot to touch when i pull over. inlet side is cold.

i had similar problem, i moved my diff forward 1 inch, linkages hit really badly. i moved my diff back 1/2 inch and that fixed steering hitting. then i hit inner guard back.

i have 3500 pound winch of ebay. i would never use it without doubling it up. i pulled my lwb up a big bank at the weekend and it worked fine. wouldn't want to recovery a bigger car with it though.

when i bought the car i was told it had one litre diffs, whats the best way to check, it has self adjusting rear brakes and discs up front. transfer case has no switch on box for 4wd light. some one had played around with it a bit before i got it.
