My son has one with a Safari turbo on it.
I can assure you that it is not slow - either in traffic or towing my 5.5 m boat.

My mate just used to take out the seat and put a piece on ply on the floor.
This gave him a level area for his fridge etc - easy to put back to standard for the wife and kids after the trip
