Re: Mud flaps?

Yes but they are sort of "L" shaped & there's nothing to attach the "inside" bolts/screws to as those mounting brackets are like paper LOL. I have seen some with bars going all the way left to right & having square type mud flaps (like those CAT ones) screwed on.

Re: Mud flaps?

What about the mounting? I have a Patrol & removed flare & put on garden edging from Bunnings, but need some sort of mounting/bar to mount any mud-flaps on. :?:

Re:

In auto's and 3.0l petrols there is a dashpot that stops the idle from dropping too soon. That also causes the problem. Old post I know, but doe's anybody know where this is, ta. I have an rb30 manual & when air-con is on it seems to idle between 1200 & 1400rpm & sounds quite fast. It normally ...

I can actually feel my LSD when it grips & so have others that have been passengers, its almost like a clunk, not a noise just a feel/grip, does this mean it needs re-shimming or is it normal? I'm new to Patrols & their LSD's after having 2 Explorers (8.8" lsd diffs), an FJ55 Cruiser & a Square Paj ...

When you speak to most mechanics they'll tell you the Ford 8.8" rear diff is near bullet proof so I would think that maybe he hadn't checked the oil for a while i.e. level, water? They have Dana 35's in front, & yeh they have 2 timing chains, 1 in front & 1 at the rear of motor. Pre 99's have a ...
