diff gear reduction will be a bit hard in my research i dont think you can get anything lower than 5.12 diffs which yours would have being 1.6
please correct me if im wrong.

Re: going from sierra to vitara ?
The vitara will be substantially more stable.
You'll want to add a steel front diff with a locker to the vitara build, and some sliders. Due to the added width of the body, lower height of the sill, (and a longer sill) of the vitara, the sills will cop a hard time.
I'd be looking for an EFI auto ...

Swift 16 valve head and tbi on 1.6
I have found a swift 16 valve head and complete tbi setup has anyone used this combo?
Are there any problems using the 16v head on a 1.6 will the tbi run the 1.6 or will it run to lean?
Are there any inherant problems with the swift tbi?
Will the valves clear the 8 valve pistons?
Cheers ...

Just some maruti tech for people who don't know.
I have discovered that a maruti 1ltr jackshaft is approximately 20mm shorter than a standard 1.3 litre jackshaft and the gear box cross member is also 20mm further back to compensate for this which means the engine sits ...
