Prodesktop. It has a fairly easy learning curve, I taught myself the basics in a day in highschool when I studied technical drawing. It has a fairly intuitive interface for working in 3d that will let you build models very simply. Prodesktop has since been merged into ProEngineer which is a bit more ...

When I was researching tyres to buy mine last december I heard this a lot too. I ended up going with Nankang Mudstars (same tread pattern) and found the Mudstars where actually oversize. :D :D Bought 32x11.5x15 and they measure 33.5x11.75x15. I was stoked for $235 a tyre fitted and balanced.

This is the one snake racing sells, with the creeper joints it wouldn't limit flex, and imho is a fairly easy design to copy.

The purpose of a BOV is to prevent compression surge thus reducing wear and tear on your engine and turbo system.

Towing a mid size camper trailer (big enough to require trailer brakes) behind ours we would get about 17L/100km.. Also the 3.5 V6 can be a bit underpowered when fully loaded for the hills and such. If you find a turbo diesel over the petrol I would. Much more balanced car. If the pajero club can't ...

Rancho VS TJM Homebrand

It's come time for me to replace the shock absorbers on the front of my IFS hilux, and I have a toss up between TJM homebrand for $120 ea or Rancho's for $130 ea. I've never had any experience with either, and I would like some opinions before i go and make the choice. The hilux in question is the 2 ...

Yeah, navara's are not good for back seat room, there will be a better availability of parts for the hilux, the only other thing that is worth checking is Spring\Coil\Torsion bar, in that year model hilux's I believe they had gone to coils, if the navara is still torsion bar I'd strongly suggest ...

When I made that change on my lux I found I gained around 10% in speed, (ie, if the speedo says 90 i'm doing 99, it it says 100 i'm doing 110), which was the most noticeable thing. In terms of acceleration I won't compare the hilux to the patrol because it's just apples to oranges.

Old wives tale solution, but it works, any glass, any fog. Take a dry bar of soap, rub it on the side of the glass that is getting fogged, take a soft cloth and wipe it clean, won't fog for weeks. Repeat when it starts fogging again. I used to have a suzi that had this problem really bad, and this ...
