Ive been seriously considering a pajero, actually. In the past ive never really been a fan of anything mitsubishi, but have heard pajero's are quite capable. Them and series 1 discoveries seem to be very well priced for what they are, I guess thats because everyone wants a patrol or cruiser. IFS is ...

Ok Guys, I've decided my next 4wd is going to be on the cheap. I have come to the conclusion that having $40k odd tied up in a vehicle really limits how far i'm willing to push it, steadily declining my outings to the point where i haven't been bush for well over 12 months now. But a recent decision ...

It's a petrol, and i have checked fluid levels, seem fine. Engages drive and reverse, i drove it about 20mtrs, but can't get it to slip. that's not saying that it won't slip at higher speed/gears.

Yeah that's the go for sure. Cheaper to buy, cheaper to set up, bigger payload and cheaper on fuel.
If you are handy with a welder you can set it up exactly how you want it, and Parks like LCMP etc shouldn't charge you for 2 entry fee's if you camp for the weekend.

Are you legally allowed to weld barwork to your chassis, for example sliders and tube tray (QLD). I was of the belief that anything attached to a chassis has to be bolted, but this is coming from a truck body building background. Yet i see lots of trucks with the exo/tray/rear bar/sliders welded ...

I used to build tipper trailers for a living, and used to get solenoids, manifolds, airbags, airline, everything you need from Shephard Transport. Can't remember their number but just Google it. Speak to Steve or Luke and they'll point you in the right direction (if they still work there)

Ok i'm gonna do a 2" body lift to my ute on Sunday, and i was hoping someone out there knows the bolt lengths i will need? I know someone will say pull them out and measure them, but A) there will be nowhere open in my area to get bolts from on a Sunday, and B) I don't want to pay for them so i'll ...

Correct me if i'm wrong, but dont fuel cells have to comply with a list of standards for road use and a seperate additional list if used in a motorsport application?? Go for it, Slammer. What have you got to lose. all it's going to cost you is a bit of materials (just find them at work

) and some time. If you don't try it you'll never learn. Get one of the tradies to check it over after you're done and you'll be fine.

Had the 33's on my Feroza for 12 Mths, and loved them. Since sold the vehicle but they were excellent wearing. Not the best in soft sand due to the width of them and the gutless 1.6 engine that was pushing them, and perhaps a bit too aggressive as if you stomped it they tend to dig holes. Loved the ...

Got home last night and as i pulled up water and steam started gushing out of a small hole in my radiator in my 75 Ute. Have priced up a few today, and $375 is the cheapest i could find, brand new. Is this the best i'm able to do? Is it worth forking out a bit more for an alloy radiator or should i ...
