hey everyone i havnt posted for abit sorry i found it ages ago it was just the wheel bearings a little loose and i niped them up and no more clicking noise also little rocks can get court in the abs sensor ring happened to me also its annoying cuz i had the pull the hub off to get the little fucker ...

thanx mate yeah its a vitara engine to so with a 5.29 ratio diffs and a 4:24:! reduction gears that should be pritty sweet for crawling ?? not to slow but not to fast

i have a 1992 model vitara ute chopped and running hilux diffs .i have a reduction issues im not sure on,and i am after sum advice i have 4:24:1 reduction gears for low range and i have a 4:88 hilux diff and a 5:29 centres and what i want to know is what would be the best reduction for ...

Hi Preecy,
It looks like you have an extra gear or two in the pile, most likley a standard ratio counter shaft gearset (the "2 gear thing bit"). Have a look round the main zook suppliers sites and check the pictures they show for the gears. What brand/ratio is the gear set you have?

i brought a solid axel vitara with hilux housing fitted with a REAR vitara center in the front i wud say the vitara centre was moderfided to fit the hilux axels and the stud pattern had been changed sorri i throught hilux and vitara axels must have been the same my mistake

Sorri I ment run a Vitara rear centre in the hilux front housing the hilux axels fit in the Vitara centre i brought a Vitara set up like this and it seemed to work fine the bloke who had it b4 mite have done sumthin to the centre to make the hilux axels fit

ive done this converson not the easyest thing but not the hardest and i wud be using a hilux housing like layto said sumthing stronger and they arnt wider then vitaras track a lil narrower beleave it or not and run hilux centers front and rear just have to change the vitara rear housing stud patten ...
