The verdict is the Haflinger is one mean machine off road! it got us everywhere we demanded all be it with plenty of time on 3 or sometimes 2 wheels! the first climb ...

1. 710M Pinzgauer, Ex Swiss Army radio truck completely standard other then BFG Muddies... it truly needs no modifications!

It has Portal axles giving 19" of diff clearance, low gearing transfer, diff locks front and rear, back bone tube chassis ...

hopefully that uimogs wont be aloud to enter for years to come

Why?

Its good to see variety in the field! not too mention a standard truck competing i understand it has some minor modifications but most of these mods are not preformance based.

If you don't like the Unimogs don't watch them ...

How often do these things come up for sale? I drive an FSM Niki (2cyl car) every day and I'd love a haflinger to go with it. Plus then I could go offroading with my mate in his patrol:P
