6G 74 Running rough & popping thru exhaust

I have just bought a 1993 3.5 Pajero cause I wanted the bull bar. The truck is in great condition but is missing/running rough and popping thru the exhaust. The rear cylinders on the LH bank both have low compressions, about 80 psi, anyone struck this before? Blown head gasket, burnt valves, pistons ...

No it doesn't start straight after the light goes off you have to keep cranking it, I usually wait for 10 seconds of so (I wait until the electric aerial has fully extended, make a good timer) It been -2 to -6 degrees here in the mornings

I had ordered from the local distributor a ARB steel winch bar for my 92 NH SWB with no air bags. ARB Aust is currently out of stock but do have stock of 1996 air bag compatable bars. Can any one tell me if the latter Air bag bar will bolt straight on to my non air bag truck.

Snorkel for 97 KZJ90 Prado, Trans holding in 2nd

A friend of mine has bought a 1997 KZJ 90 SWB Prado, she needs a snorkel for it. There seems to be alot of confusion with suppliers over here as the air cleaner is on the passengers side of the engine compartment where as the majority of Prados have the air filter on the drivers side. Can anyone ...

Hi I am replacing brake pads front and rear about every 5000km, have been using the Lucas pads from Repco not the cheaper silverline pads. Do you have a trailer wiring plug? Alot of blown fuses on modern vehicles can be traced to faulty aftermarket wiring to the trailer plug. Does the fuse blow as soon as you turn the key on or do you have to turn the indicators on? Left or right side?

Not unless you have the matching transmission/gear box, wiring loom ECU, radiator etc. Not worth the hassle. You would be better off buying a NJ truck with the 3.5 already in it

The roof rails appear to be factory Mitsubishi ones. This vehicle was imported into NZ 2nd hand from Japan and they were on the car when it arrived in NZ. There are a few Jap import Pajeros about with the same roof rails as mine over here.
