Thanks for that Doug,I have Chrome axles and the centre is 106mm so it will go very close.I got a bracket from Shane and copied that (roc7oy's) design so it should be the same as yours. I am building an IFS width set up for the rear so it's a bench build then throw the lot in in one go.

11_evl, GQ and some GU rear disc rotors are the same.

Go to the DBA site and down load their Australian catalogue, and it shows you what the dimensions are.

What's the good oil on rear disc set-ups for 60's,I believe Locktup are trying to set one up,but that could take some time.

You can get an adjustable brake bias/proportioning valve to replace it,you adjust it via a dial/screw/knob until you are happy will it.
Locktup sells one as part of there rear disc conversion kit

It all sounds pretty normal for a solid axle Hilux to me,I would stop wasting money on it and just get used to it.Like you said first up 'you were used to R & P steering.You have done everything else champ just drive it.
