Outer Limits 4x4 Board

I spent hours reserching lifting a D40 for a freind and the best lift available is from the states It comes with adjustable coil overs for a lift up to 3 inches and with that and a bodylift im sure you could get the 35's under it.

The worst cars on our roads are commodores and falcons and there made right here in OZ.

Better milage , Reduced noise and smoke
As for power i think i got the base modle TD42 Power was an optional extra mine dosent have It's hard to notice a 10% increase in 00HP.
I will be continuing to add it.

After seeing others do great jobs on their bars i thought i would have a go myself.
The bar is 3.2 mm 50nb tube with a 3.2mm 25nb tube below. 3mm rhs for the mounting and support and all wraped in 3mm plate The hoop is 3" 1.6mm mandrel bent pipe with 2 spottie mounts and the uhf mount. Also have ...

Sounds like a rumbleing sort of sound (NOT clicking or banging).
I figure it sounds like a dry worn bearing.
Coming from the front and very noticable.
Here's a rundown of what ive done recently in order:

2" Bodylift (no noise after bodylift) 12 months ago ...

I have a noise in my 89 GQ wagon that only happens when i engage 4wd.
I dose it when i put it in 4wd without the hubs locked and when they are locked.
It's not there if i lock the hubs and leave it in 2wd.
And it seems to be worse when its coasting.
It dose it in or out of gear and is noticable ...

The lift is for a mate, I found some stuff in the US that looks ok, Theres a few guy's in oz using it and they have good reports.

Looks as though its the bearings so i'll have to send it in to get done, i dont have a press to do it myself.
Hope it dosent cost to much.

Pulled out the rear axles this arvo (in the rain)Passanger side was fine but driver side was fairly dry and with slow turning of the housing i could feel a few bumps (even though there was no slop or play in it) so i greased it up and put it back together, when i go for a long drive i will see how ...

If you're unable to specify where the noise is coming from then maybe you should take it to a mechanic

ON TRACK could not tell me what it was.
And also took it to OL and they were very helpfull (came for a drive and even got under it and removed tailshaft and checked diff ect) but they coul not ...

Its not the handbrake.
Not the tyres rubbing.
Its not the springs squeeking.
Brake pad squeal shims?? Not sure

Seems to happen after i drive for 10 15 mins and somtimes starts if i hit a bump in the road, It is very random.

I have a 89 GQ wagon thats has a squeeling noise that comes and goes, sounds like its coming from the back.
Sounds kinda like a stone in the brakes but ive replaced all the roters and pads and given it a good clean and found nothing.
Starting to think it might be the wheel bearings but im not sure ...
