Re: Explain dual cases to me
Duals with standard gearing 2.28 will give u approximately 10% lower than a single case with 4.7 reductions yet still give u standard 4 low which is lost with a single case with 4.7 reductions. U then have the option of 4 forward gear ratios and 228.1 or similar depending on diff ratios with a dual ...
Re: Ifs rears
solid axle rears are 48" and ifs are 51" so 3" difference.
best pack is an old worn out 48" rear pack consisting of 5 leaves minus the 2 overloads with the bottom 3 leafs cut down so they are staggered 3-4" shorter than the leaf above them. i have this setup and it maxes out my 12" bilsteins.

Re: trail gear springs and x-over steering
trailgear U.S will not look after you with freight to AUS.
their highsteer kit is $299 and they quoted me freight of $485.
they quote this ridiculous freight price so that you will buy the kit off their local Australian dealers ie loktup4x4.
another U.S company sky manufacturing quoted $150 freight ...

Re: ifs rears what bushes to use
the bush you need is kelpro 27014.
available from repco for about $9 per half.
sold as half bushes so you need 4 halves to make 2 complete bushes.
remove the stock front anchor pin bushes and replace with these.
think they are from early 1980 model rodeo and jackeroo.

Re: why isnt my diff straight
I think ray is on the right track. your torque rod/diff locator if standard may pull the drivers side further rearward due to the lift. get an adjustable one or remove it all together.
