Atari ,i have emailed corbeau today.
They have asked me to take some measurements & some photos,they will compare them with the sidekick seat brackets....
Hopefully they measure up the same

Hi Loose
i could fab some brackets up that would bolt to the Vitara floor pan, then bolt the monza seat rails to these... but im thinking about purchasing some
corbeau seat brackets from the usa that fit the side kick(Vitara).
But i don't know if the floor pans are the same? as the sidekick is ...

Hi People....
I have sourced some custom seat rails from the US. These fit the Sidekick which i do believe is the same as Vitara .....
Does anyone know? if left hand drive (US models)& right hand drive(aussie) have the same floor pan...

G/Day all..
I hoping some one can help me.....Im going to look at a pair of monza seats in the morning. i want to fit these into my sons 1990 swb Vitara.
Has some one fitted aftermarket seats to their Vitara and if so where did you purchase the seat rails, are these expensive for the Vitara ...

I welded a bolt to mine to get them out...although the heat from the welder made it loose anyway haha. Then i bought new plugs, which I did a better weld job to for future removal.
Looks like im going to do the same thing exc...
tried everything else except burning the plastic washer off...

I lifted my Vit 50mm with the just cruizin kit ... Think he calls it the "up yours" kit now?
Did not need to bend any levers, but did need to fit spacers in the steering column rag joint. 3mm was all it needed for the joint to be relieved of it's stress and the bolt replaced easy..

I have a 50mm body lift on my 1990 SWB Vitara. It was a commercial kit through ARB. Below are a few little bits and pieces that I needed fiddle with to get it all working:
As you'd know the gear sticks drop down and need a bend and extend , or like I do, simply remove the boot off the main gear ...

i have fitted body lifts to my landrovers using alloy blocks & longer bolts...
Is the Vitara easy?, i have looked at some body lift kits on the net

We have ordered Lifted Dobinsons springs from SuspensionStuff and there shockies/struts for a 40mm lift..
Will we need to fit camber bolts lifting this amount??
then we will look at fitting a 40mm body lift...

Hi all....
We want to put a suspension lift in a 1990 vit.swb
would like a 2 inch lift......what brands will give this giving a good ride....
i have been thinking about the kit suspensionstuff are selling..
Lovells coils & shocks but the lift is 30 to 40mm
Is there any one running the lovell set ...

My son has purchase a 1990 Vitara swb.... we changed all the oils today
But we could not get the rear filler plug out using a socket handle......
i dont wont to chew it out completely by forcing it to much?
The socket was a bit loose....can you get a proper socket? or can someone advise how to ...
