Stainless Steel Roll Bar

This may be a random idea but is it possible to manufacture a roll bar/cage out of stainless steel tube? Is it practical in terms of structural strength and to work with?

The reason I ask is I see alot of polished stainless used in the marine industry and though of its application to my needs ...

Re: Air Lockers from the US/Europe?

I work between AUS and the USA and have been looking at sending parts home for a while.

If you use freight companies like UPS and FEDEX freight will be $200 plus per package. Alot of 'seller's use this form of freight as it is fully insured and the easiest and most guaranteed option for delivery ...

Re: Fj40 fibreglas body

Mate I have a Keith Donaldson Body and the paperwork to go with. However just this does not make it legal unless all car work, seat frames, etc are designed and engineered first to make the body structurally okay.

I am working overseas atm and my mate is storing the shorty along with the paperwork ...

Re: Landcruiser parts from the USA

Ive got some bits I'v been looking at getting freighted over too for a while, but it is a killer. For a 10lb package thats roughly 10" square the best I could find is around the $200 mark.

But if you do figure a way to get multiple items packed and shipped together let me know and I'll consider it ...

Does anyone know if clear fuel hose to suit petrol is available? And if so who supplies it.

I am only after a very short length 12mm / 1/2" diam

I want to use it vertically on the side of a fuel tank as a visual reference to the fuel level.

Cheers

Possible Hot new Product for waterproofing electricals?

Check this out

I work in yachting and this has come to our industry from someone who spied it at a gun show in the USA. Its application to 4WD'ing could be awesome - not sure if anyone is importing or distributing it yet though?

You have to get seat mounts and roll bar engineered and the take over pits at Qld Transport for them to sign off on and issue new body plate.

The engineer I used as recommended by Qld Transport was Richard Larson - he runs a business in Upper Kedron called Loadsafe. I used him back in 2001 and even ...
