Sounds Good ,
I brought the Patrol with the conversion already done . but I was never quit happy with the way the auto shifted . To be able to tune it to suit the driving style would be great . I'll definatly be looking into the compushift 2 .
Thanks for the quick reply

Re: Welding galvanised steel.
why don't you use Perlin's for the floor beams instead of RHS . you can tech scew it all togeather and it's strong as hell . I built one 12x7m and 1.5m high . used 75x75x3mm for the posts/stumps , and 6" Perlins for the floor beams . Just make sure you use 14 gauge screw's . this might be another ...

Re: TIG Welding 3mm CDW?
Most of the smaller TIG's you can buy a 130/140 amp . they should do it easy .
I've got a 160 amp and the 9V torch and lead's get too hot before the duty cycle cut's out ( yes I know I should be using a 17v torch but I like the 9v flexy torches ) .

I just fitted a 2876 with a .64 and custom .60 AR Compressor end, very happy with it ! Intending to run 15, its at 17.5 at the moment. That was the difference between bleed valve on original Turbo set up and this one! Boost at 100 k cruise now down around 5 and EGTs dropped dramatically. Only ...

I've used hi end Bosch Metarbo constatly over the past 10 years . both are realy good if you buy the trade quality ones .
the one's that have the soft start and variable speed typically F@$k up first as there a little bit more electronics in them .
But it really comes down to buget
