Re: Feroza safety recall?!?

The fume problem is from the fuel tank breather etc and is not exactly lethal.
In saying that the fumes are not safe either, but far better than the exhaust fume leak you were talking about (carbon monoxide is very nasty and completely colourless, odourless and deadly).

Re: What is ultimate Engine to re-power Ferozas?

Mighty Mouse,

Did the A44D/DE come in any other vehicles, or was it just the Feroza?
Seems odd that it would bolt right up to a mazda if it didn't.

Also, how did you mount the Vitara transfer to the Feroza auto box.
I thought the transfer on a Feroza auto was still built into it.

Cheers,

Dano

Powder coat for sure.

Cold gal doesn't really etch itself to the steel. It will rub off and rust will come.

Shouldn't cost much to powder coat.

Last price I saw was $40 for a wheel so all your plates shouldn't be too hard. Just ring with dimensions and ask.

I had the same symptoms with my feroza a month ago.
It turned out my battery was on it's last legs.

It did originally seem like an earthing thing because as you said it only happens when you turn something on.
