Polyurethane is the stuff if you want something unkillable. It's more expensive, and stiffer.

This is what I use, you can have it made to just about any size & thickness and cut it down to suit.

I have owned my Vit SWB hardtop 5 years.

Was good on fuel when first brought 8 litres per 100klms.

It is my daliy drive with all the mods it is now 10 litres per 100klms.

But is too small for me these days, I have to leave alot behind when camping.

I would buy a 4 door Vit.

The Calmini 6" lift is combined with the 3" body lift. so you can get a 2" or 3" Calmini lift kit.

Wheel Travel is great, I run 30" and no rubbing.

With the rear mount the rear spare has a bit of spring when I hit bumps and I modified the door rubber mount as well so it does move around as well.

Trying to find some pics of the mount points I took.

There is a difference in the 1.6 models, the front bar on mine is a tube and on others it is a flat bar.

Have to agree with Gwagensteve looks like torque not impact. Do you have a front diff locker? I know you have drop brackets and you got about 31/2 to 4inch lift right. Not 100% sure but the angle of the cv can put strain on the diff housing, if at too much angle. I have the drop brackets (Calmini 3 ...
