A knocking that speeds up and down with the revs could be a few things. Whats the mileage on the motor and how often have you changed the oil? It could be a tappet sound which is normally caused by lack of or poor oil. Maybe change with some decent 20w60 to see if it goes away. Worst case is it ...

heres my advice , if it didnt come out of the factory turbo'd dont touch it
2.8's do big ends in stock form let alone turbo'd form

hey guys , all i did was i got a turbo kit off a surf, sold the manifold bought one off a 4 runner that had been turbo'd and used an addaptor flange that you can buy on ebay for like $70. just have a sus at a 4x4 wrecker thats all i did the rest is a peice of cake. what sort of boost are you guys ...

Injectors? How many k's on the rig? EDIT: if the fuel filter is blocked, it just wont make power/flat spots. air filter will cause black smoke due to not enough air to burn all the fuel and i think white is unburnt diesel aswell, im not sure if a air filter blockage will cause this but i know that ...

change your fuel/ air filter glow plugs as mentioned , injectors, how long ago were they done? fuel gauge reading wrong ? mine was out huge.

yeah its 65 liters , went for a drive lastnight and did another hundred km's of driving and its still not empty yet

hey guys i have an 84 hilux, its desiel but have no idea on size of my tank
i have a feeling my fuel gauge is reading really wrong , causing me to think im getting bad consumption.

body lift doesnt affect your brake lines, body lift all it does is lift the cab.

When I did my BL, I just measured the bolts that came from factory, and got some HT bolts that are 2 inches longer, flat washers and nyloc nuts. my lux has had a rebuild (minus injectors and pump) its just done over 12000 km's atm.
