Timing Belt - Good Mechanics - brissy northside

Just moved to the northside of brissy near sandgate.

Tried searching through the forums but couldn't find anything.

Any good mechanics on the northside, that a good quality/service and aren't over priced?

I have a 98 dual Hilux 5L and need the Timing belt done

Yeah that makes it abit hard. You could always get the headset for it or external speaker. Still, a lot of effort for something you just purchased. Take it back and see what they say. You could take it back and say that when you opened it you think it's second hand because it has marks on it and isn ...

I have a couple of TX610 I have used a few times out wheeling.

They seem pretty good, I've now changed to a TX3200 and use it mostly.

I still use the TX610 when hunting and out walking.

Coverage is ok until you come across a mountain.

I heard that the latest BFG had a thicker wall. Could just be a rumor. How would MTRs hold up with everyday driving on mainroads? I'll be heading up to Cape York and then over to Kakadu and Alice springs at the start of next year and want a tyre that will be good Off road but not wear too quickly. I ...

Toyota Surf, 2" suspension and 2" body lift. I'll be doing a trip at the end of the year to Cape York and heading over to Kakadu and Alice Springs. Plus don't mind going out and playing on weekends I don't put it through it's paces like some of you guys But I do give it a hard time once in awhile.

Only thing is that you can't put an in-Cab kit on to them, so you need to get dirty when changing settings and you can't change settings while driving.

I only have a 2" suspension lift so I will be after the smaller ones.

Can you remember what the bad report was on them?
