Re: 33inch tyres!!
15x8 with a back spacing of 3.75 or more (someone correct me if thats wrong) If you like steelies i would have a look at the procomp brand, they look a little nice then the normal sunraiser.
Dont go for a 15x10, too many people have problems popping beads.

Re: jk lift and gear ratio's
Yea i realised there was a difference in the 2 models but didn't realise a 2in lift would be all thats needed. Learn something new every day, thanks OIIIO. Im not disagreeing with huge bump stops.

Re: jk lift and gear ratio's
really? 2in? Is that with flatties? Im going off my tj, and there is no way a 2in lift would work, unless it had huge bump stops and all down travel

Re: jk lift and gear ratio's
G'day mate, i would recommend 4.88 diff ratio's. As for suspension i would say 4 to 6 inch's? Depends how big you want your rig, there are many sorts of lifts out there, so do some research on what is available for your needs and budget.

Re: Busted something???
Yea righto, what ratio diff gears has it got? My money is on crown teeth rather then pinion teeth, as pinion teeth are usually pretty thick. Maybe drain the oil, and just pop the the front cover off and have a look, does the knock happen when in reverse too? Try checkin both sides of the crown gear ...

Re: Busted something???
Hey mate, ill start with the clunk is not normal, my tj is air locked front and rear and doesn't make a sound. The clunk could be a few things, is it a constant clunk or does it speed up with wheel speed? Does it clunk in 2wd, does it clunk with locker off? It could be a tooth off the ring gear ...

Re: VooDoo's CJ5 + LS1 Project
Hey mate this is gonna be a sweet truck your building, supercharged ls1 is always fun. Im not too much off an expert but standard diffs/d30/d35 possibly d44's probably wont hold 500hp or anything above 35in tyres. Gq/gu diffs are strong but the pumpkin is on the wrong side for a jeep transfer, how ...

Throttle body spacers are overated/junk/snake-oil.
Put some sway bar disconnects on it and a locker or two (maybe a Skyjacker belly-up/crossmember) and it will rock - has already had the skyjacker kit fitted - wich included disconnects and am actually fitting a belly up this weekend - am very happy ...

I think the inlet goes in the fender, under the tray on the right side, so shouldn't affect whatever you have on that plate.
yea i thought so but wasnt sure 100%
I am looking to do the same, in some big diameter mandrel bent pipe, then flexy hose in the engine bay. I was thinking of cutting down ...
