Re: PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
Was able to source a local set from a wrecker for $200 for the pair (some places were asking up to $200 EACH...) Sourced new set of dimpled and slotted rotors and a set of pads to suit off ebay..... The stopping abilities of the challenger are awesome now, you apply a bit of pressure and she pulls ...

I wasnt aware that there were different sizes in the challengers...
Something else that changed from leaf to coils?
Mines an '01 coil suspension (if thats the deciding factor...)

Re: PA Challenger Diff ratio options
Yeah but Na..... The situation is the engine/trans combination is meant to be paired up with a 3.917 diff ratio and running 265/65/r17 wheels/tyres, but that engine/trans combo is now paired up with a challenger diff ratio of the stock 4.636 and running 275/70/r17 wheels/tyres. Running this current ...

PA Challenger Caliper/Rotor Options
Hey everyone, am wondering what options are out there regarding increasing the braking capability of the Challenger...Ideally Id love to go larger rotors and calipers rather than just the slotted and drilled upgrade. If anyone knows whats compatable between different models etc, Id love the help. Id ...

PA Challenger Diff ratio options
Hey everyone, am wondering what diff ratios are available that will fit into the PA Challenger (2001 Petrol Auto) in the area of around 4.17 instead of the stock 4.636... Am working on a project and would help to run the 33's a bit better and work out the gearing differences with a 3.2 DID...(3.917 ...

Re: Triton MK 3.0 Diff Sizes
Being the petrol, id put money on it being the same as the challenger, being a 4.636 ratio and the 9" diff (30.5mm shaft with 28 splines) I think (but really am not 100% at all) that only the 9" had the 4.636 ratio? Someone else might be able to correct me. So if your compliance plate has a 4636 as ...

Re: Triton MK 3.0 Diff Sizes
Im pretty sure that the ratio would be listed on the compliance plate on the fire wall, but that will just be the ratio, not an actual size, if you look up the arb website (http://www.arb.com.au" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;) and go into the air locker section, there will be a list ...

Re: NW Pajero - How to remove gear knobs?
If i remember i'll check with emmaunuale tomorrow for you and see what i can find, i know that i dont have anything for the auto tranny, but i might for the manual. Re: NW Pajero - How to remove gear knobs?
i think you'll find that the 4wd lever is actually just mounted inside the cabin and only actually is a big 'switch', not linked physically to the transfer case. Just all electronic. Do you get to get out 4wding much around Cooma? i know the area fairly well (actually grew up in Cooma - or at least ...

Re: NW Pajero - How to remove gear knobs?
Hey, congrats on the new NW, is it the auto your talking about? I think its a case of pulling down the chrome trim piece and removing two screws from the steel shaft (or the might even be exposed as is???) Just be careful with the transmission shifter as its got a really silly plastic rod thats used ...

Any reason why you wouldnt just put a challenger bar onto the challenger?
(Im assuming its a coil rear challenger = no ARB bar available...)

Re: Ok so I'm a d!#k head.... and I can't find the fuse???
cant remember what exact model it was, or even if was mitsubishi,
I remember that theere was a fusable link up under the fuse box in the engine bay. You had to remove the bolts on the fuse block to side of body and flip it over to see or get to the suckers.
Good luck
