go a chev v8 on gas. marks adaptors are the people to speak too. if you're in sydney don't go to 4 play conversions in the western suburbs they did a number on me. good lucks.

mate i have an fj40 i swapped out the 2f for a 350 chev. cost me a shit load. (don't go to 4play conversions in sydney) they f#$$%%$#%^%#cked me around...... worth it, though i don't think it will bolt straight to your gearbox. you'll probably need the marks adaptor kit to bolt it up. yeh, i should try to get it off and check tomorrow. i'm not so good at wiring. to be honest never really tried electrical work, think the whole truck could do with a rewire though, fuses keep going, mainly the headlights but also the whole dash. should probably get it checked out by a pro. i'll let ...

a guy who rents my place from me put the third row seats from an old pajero in his 40. seemed to work quite well. they fold up to the side, leaving the back open for space. may be the third row seats from a 80 series or 100 series might work too. probably a bit pricey though.

my tranfer case keeps popping out of h4. when i put the foot down in h4 it pops out. the L shape shifting motion means it is suseptable to this happening. does anyone else suffer from this prob?

what's the deal with fibreglass bodys and panels are they ok? will a 78 model tub bolt on to an 82 chassis? is it difficult to repaint fibre glass, fix cracks and so on? any info in this area would be great.

i have an 82 with a 350 chev and the original gear box and transfer case. although my engine is no where near that powerful. it seems to be ok. i do find the transfer case pops out of 4x4 when it's being pushed hard. does anyone else find the transfer case on there fj40 pops out of 4x4? maybe there ...
