YO SIMMO i can testify to the 85% reduction gears had em in the 2.8 but that shat itself got 4.2D now, but 2.8 needs them money well spent ..

just go out and buy a front locker, what flex you have will be enough , or you can fit a XLINK dont play around pullin bolts even off road , cant imagine how much fun it would be puttin said bolt back in all goo and mud stuffed in there let alone gettin it to line up,,, ohh what a feelin :bad-words ...

2nd,, I have ripped a couple of rear air lines off , fitted h/d upgrade now all ok , did have to replace the rear seal once was leakin air into diff housing also fitted upgrade box section o rings,, as for the front one no probs at all :D no oil in cab ever they work when you want them to that suits ...

Going on the standard rad and fan setup the donk sits or is sitting in the correct spot , dont forget my GQ yours GU would not think that there would be much difference but must be ALL GOOD INFO cheers mate

Mate all i did was remove both eng mounts then fitted gearbox in original crossmember , then fit up of 4.2 eng and fit up of rad to get right angle or height tacked in the mounts removed the eng welded the mounts and refit motor and rad final fit with new clutch and anything else we could renew all ...

Pretty basic swap guys you will need a 4.2 radiator the motor with all ancillarys power steer air con etc 4.2 gearbox i swapped my transfer over fitted straight up had to remove old eng mounts and reweld the original 4.2 mounts in place [ had to have gearbox and motor in place for this ] as for gear ...

I just recently had my Patrol dyno tuned by Denco in Wagga. I found that it was hitting 550 to often for my liking and I was continually backing off the throttle to lower the temps. Towing is much worse and because we are towing a loaded trailer for a Postie Bike Challenge through the Flinders ...
