I just fitted one to the front of my Jeep. I have the 10k pound one. I am mounting the solenoid under the bonnet and will be installing a kill/off switch eventually. In the interim I just disconnect it from the positive terminal so it can't be run. I am going to the Jeep jamboree this weekend ...

The most alarming part of this is the "fuck off or I will dob you into the RTA" threat that was made. It has made me think about buying a front bar from them now, it will not be ADR/Air bag approved in Australia, yet they sell it. If I have an issue and ask for warranty claim will they dob me into ...

I have free wheeling hubs to reduce wear on the CV's, I did have a drivers side inside CV go, but that was apparently a pre-existing fault that Suzuki were happy to fix under warranty at 25,000 km I now have 110,000 km on the car and the CV's are fine. The sway bar is still on at this stage and I ...

My springs are custom made by Allsprings at Morebank. My 50mm lift is 4.5" at the rear and 3.5" at the front. I went with the OME struts at the front as they are/were the longest travel struts on the market. The rear are 35mm Tough Dog and are the longest I can run without topping out or hitting the ...

With an auto can you do a 'gentle' snatch. I have used this on the sand several times to recover 'soft-roaders' without recovery hoods, just the tie down loops. It reduces the sudden application of the load. 1. Connect up snatch to both vehicles. 2. Stuck vehicle selects appropriate gear (N if ...

There is a mob in Queensland who make a snorkle for a GV. I have just ordered one. They are about $550.

I have also fitted a ECB alloy bar to the front of mine. I will take some photos if it ever stops raining here (not that I am complaining).
