my mate rang up one of his mates that was out on a jetski and he knew how to get it off.

there is a plastic rim that clip over the door handle opener.
he said to use a small flat screwdriver and it would unclip.

i already got that off with the circlip remover tool

its the door handle opener thing that i cant get off

i just bought a 1989 nissan navara twin cab ute.

i need to replace the inside door trim but i cannot get the door handle opener piece of plastic out.
it has no screws only a rubber grommett that stops the rattle.

any ideas??

what about exhaust?

at the moment i have an mq patrol with aP40 motor and a 5 speed manual.

i would like to change it to an rb30.

will my currant box fit the rb30?
what else do i need to do?

how would a tb42 go into a 5 speed mq patrol petrol 6 cylinder?

can i use my gearbox or do i need 1 from the tb42 series?

hi all i found what i was told was a p motor head for my mq patrol, took it to the reconditioners and even he said it was a p motor head, got it reconed , took it home, unbolted old head and put it besides new to tranfer thermostat housing and other attachments only to find that the new head has ...

i seem to have p motor in my 1984 patrol lwb wagon,
im told that its a malaysian model.
and they said that i dont have a p 40 motor

my engine number has p and six numbers

not p40 and six numbers

can anybody please clarify this for me

hi all you have given me a lot to think about. here are the details from under the bonnet on the 2 plates. nissan 3C patrol wagon 10/84 vg160 738 296 fs5w81a hh41 p 3956 cc so i take it that its a p40 motor 4.0L it s definitely an MQ your help is greatly appreciated thanks again ron

hi all i am having to make atough decision about wjhat to do re my motor. i either find somebody reliable to rebuilt my 4.0l P40 6 cylinder, but nobody seems to want to do here in brisbane area or i go for the V8 convertion. what is involbved in the convertion? where would i look to buy 1? what else ...

drop arms were fixed before the problem stopped.
they straightened them and dropped them down.

mine used to get that bad i had to stop to gret rid of the shutter

where is good place for headwork in south east qld?

i need to get stainless valves put in,
i run on lpg.
and while thats being done they may as well put harder seats in ,
so that i can run unleaded.

i still need a nissan 4.0L head.

i asked a couple of patrs shops and they said that there are about 8 different ones that i can buy

we took the master cylinder off and took it back to aussie auto and they are now sending it to whoever they bought it of for testing.
looks like i will be without wheels for a while
