Re: gq diff vs gu diff

Instead of redoing the GQ centre to take GU axle you can just take 5mm off of the inside end of both axles. Re: GQ Front shaft angles after lift

with the hubs locked in is it worse when turning right than the left.
if so it is the front tailshaft rubbing on the crossmember mine had clearance when on the flat but not much and bodyroll was enough to make it touch. there will be a ring worn in the paint around the tailshaft.

hope this helps

Re: Horrable steering wobble GQ

i had most of these fixed on mine and it still had verry bad wobbles in the end it as just a bad wheel alignment (11mm toe in) so check the simple things first .

if its driven as a 4x4 should be it probably needs one anyway

Re: chunk of cast steel out my gearbox when changing oil

i think it could be the bottom of a bolt hole. when you put a bolt thats to long into a threaded hole and wind it in till it bottoms out then wind it further popping the domed casting off on the inside of the gearbox. best i can explain it . Thats the bottom of the hole and i wolud say the red is ...

i would choose a Eaton m112 if i was to do it again allthought the m90 is totally adequate boosting at up to 10pounds if you get your drive ratios right. you dont need to move the radiator but you will need to move the power steer pump and space the fan forward about 25mm. mine is intercooled and ...
