Hi
My engine from Thailand did not come with the coolant hoses for the heater. Does anyone perhaps know where they go on the engine? I presume the hotwater hose exits on top just prior to going to the radiator, but where does the inlet go back into the engine? Thanks

Re: mechanical injectors into a 2009 Hilux D-4D
Hi guys
I just thought I'd bring this up again. I got the mechanical Pajero injectors, but they are too short. The in and outlets won't clear above the camshafts. I also looked at perhaps running the fuel lines below the camshaft, but there is not enough room for the fitting. I even considered ...

Re: Is there such a thing as a rear oilpan/sump for the D-4D
Hmm i think Hiace might be rear sump but I'll check tomorrow at work and see if I can find one to have a squiz at.
Hey thanks, I really appreciate that. Someone also mentioned that those trucks that had the 1KZ-TE engine has a rear sump, because the blocks are the same. I think they were in the ...

Is there such a thing as a rear oilpan/sump for the D-4D?
Hi guys
I'm putting the 3.0 D-4D Hilux 1KD-FTV engine into my truck. Due to the fact that I have a solid front axle, I have switched the oilpan front to back (by re-drilling the holes), but would like to find a matching pick-up tube. I see that there are already mounting holes for such a pick-up ...

Re: mechanical injectors into a 2009 Hilux D-4D
Out of curiosity what is the engine code for the mech injected version of this engine, or what engine does the injector pump come off and how do you plan on fitting it?
99% sure a mech injected version of the 1kd was never available in australia. And I've never heard of anyone doing the conversion ...

Re: mechanical injectors into a 2009 Hilux D-4D
it wont work.
the D4D is common rail.
mechanical injectors need indvidual lines and less line pressure.
can i ask why you would do this. apart from being illegal due to emissions u'll most likely loose alot of power.
Hi, thanks for the reply. I was wondering if I should provide more information ...

mechanical injectors into a 2009 Hilux D-4D
Hi guys
Has anyone tried to swap out the electronic injectors with mechanical injectors on the 3.0 liter D-4D (1KD-FTV) yet? I read on this forum about 1HD-T injectors, but found out later that this was a typo and was told to try the mechanical injectors from a Mitsubishi Pajero 3.2 liter with the ...

Need part number for Pajero 4M41 injector, please
Hi guys
I'm just looking for the part number for a 2003 Pajero with the 3.2L 4M41 engine. I have CAPS 3.41, but can't find this model listed. Would really appreciate any help. Thanks. Gary
