i had an ally one, cracked it in 3 months. have now got a 3 core copper brass and its lasted a trip to the cape + 10 000 klm since install.... wouldnt buy an ally one again

did a trip to the cape and back with that airbox and filter i posted up. no issues at all, oiled it before i left, once at the top then when i got back home. gave it a rinse out every2-3 days and its been fine

There wasn't a dnf time or times you had to beat. the way it worked was everyone headed off then when the first team got back everyone else had 3 hours to finish after them or dnf the day/stage.

no, unless you have a shit load of cash ready to do an engine rebuild with then avoid the 3L ones like the plague, later models after 05 i think it is have not got the same likeliness of blowing themselves to pieces like the earlier ones do.

Bally, if you get a choice in Dr I strongly recommend Dr Micheal South from up in Rocky, best Dr you will find and very practical. He has done a fair bit of work on me in the past and I would never go to another ortho again. Good news so far. doesn't look like it will require surgery just torn ...

have a bit to go as well, still have to get gq back from fatz, get winch together and in, a bit of wiring here and there, get lights on, tyres and rims should be sorted now as well, brakes too. but other than that its all good

if its auto you want and you are towing large loads it will definitly need a bigger auto cooler. that and try to tow in 4th as much as possible, 5th is known to be a bit of a weak gear when loaded up

i have 6in spring lift wth 35s it takes a bit to get used to but i still can take corners as before and have never been hasled by cops In the end its your car, your responsiblity and your insurance policy. Do what you like. There is plenty of people who have been there and done the excessive lifts ...

same as above, roughly 1 degree for every inch but i also have to ask as well why so high?? i ran 35's on 4" lift and it felt way to big, dropped it to 2" and its much more stable, doesnt want to roll around everywhere and i can still drive round town without cops hassling me

just curious but what would a safe tune on a 4.8 be hp wise? dollars wise to achieve this and parts included etc? may look into doing this sometime soon..... engine has 135000 klm on it.
