i have heard that you can go through a panel beater shop and order a replacement back section for your "UTE" weather it be a bubble back or flat back not sure on the cost but just might be less than a 2nd had ute body

yeah a great idea mate my truck will comply easily but you need to work in the efi models and turbo diesel models because there are so many of these about as GQs werent just limited to naturally aspirated models only

on GQ petrols do the fuel gauges have a problem with not working or do the fuel tanks get a air lock of some sort in them i put 30 odd litres of fuel in today and couldnt seem to get any more in but the gauge only showed half a tank any info thanks Benny

perspex the same thickness will flex too much and let air in i took both windows out and replaced them with 5mm aluminium worked well no flex and sealed perfectly

mate blew up his 2.4 surf motor the other day im just wondering if a 13b i think engine 3.5 litre diesel out of a toyota dyna will bolt straight up to the gearbox out of the surf as the 3.5 is on the cheap and has only done about 250kms since the rebuild just wondering what is involved and if at all ...
