Frank, I came across a NM LSD diff $850.00 I wanted to put in the NP and try and to slow the need for the traction control to work but it was a steep for me to see if it would work or not it is still available in Brizy

I had this problem in a NH it was the black rubber bag thing that was connected to the lid, unscrew the lid and push the bag thing back into the lid, it worked for me

Boy's which is better, Lokka, Lock right, Detroit when it comes to drivability on the road in regards to the unlocking of the unit when cornering etc, it is going to be fitted in the front diff in a NP 3.8L Auto, I only ask because when you read all the guff on each unit they are always better than ...

The main reason to change to a full synthetic oil is to increase the time between oil changes, if you change your oil every 5-7000km don't use synthetic it is ony a waste of money but if you want to increase changes to 15000km then use synthetic, I personly would prefer to change it every 5-7000km ...

I have the NP 3.8 petrol with a 3" lift and winch the thing is a rocket on the dirt tracks or sand, the traction control works a dream and unless the Patrol has lockers and a good driver you will go further and get there quicker, dont be put off by the petrol engine it can be thursty if driven hard ...

I had this problem once, ended up being the fuel pump just ran out of life, it would cut out even when driving after you stopped for a minute you could start it again and be on your way

I have fitted 32" Mongrels with the old white steel rims (off NH) with 3"lift they just hang past the guards (looks great) some times just grab the flares but no drama, I think with std supension 32" (AT) would be max

Your right Raspas your's does look very neat, the one that will suit the diesel will fit the out side of the petrol but it all goes wrong when it goes through the guard but as you said where there's is a will there's a way I will keep you informed as time goes on

Thats right but look at the cost of the set up I am not sure but you would have to look at $1000.00 2nd hand. You may be able to a crap unit cheaper but would you risk it if doing long trips, and there is the extra petrol used when running a dual fuel set up

You will use about 25% more gas to travel the same K's as on petrol eg 100ltr petrol to travel 500km would = 125ltr gas to travel 500kmif you have duel fuel you will use more petrol per km than you are doing now as the timing has to be advanced to run gas it wold be better to run one or the other ...

You can't regrind the cam and change the profile as the computor will not know what is going on unless you change to unichip etc and reprogram
