I didn't know there were high comp 3.9s? The comp ratio is generally stamped right above the engine number on the block anyway... The High Compression comes with 9.35 stamped on the engine. The Low Compression comes with 8.13 stamped on the engine. Both stand for compression ratio 9.35:1 versus 8 ...

I am mounting Allied beadlocks wheels on Simex 36"X12.5 ET II. The outer bead of the tyre seems too thick and comes down in two stages which does not allow the locking ring to sit properly and be able to be tightened correctly with the screws.

I think the tyre difference is what caused the problem.

It seems that with an open diff running 2 different sized tyres will cause damage at highway speeds
