Yeah any 34.5mm x 20mm Narva Switches fit perfect, the likes of:
#63010BL up to #63027BL
On page 3 of the Narva Switches listing here:
http://www.narva.com.au/Switches_11.html
I find it better not to file the corner out of the dash, switches are a lot firmer and stay in.

I currently have a 55Ah in the petrol model battery tray in my Maverick, my newish Engel will probably use approx. 20-25Ah/day in reasonable weather on fridge mode, and remembering you can't use the last 20% of battery power I can usually last 1.5-2 days in camp without starting the vehicle. I'm in ...

I'm currently looking at buying one of those same breather kits, hopefully they stay less than the current $92 on ebay... was bidding up to $87 on the last set I wanted. I have a GQ Patrol/Maverick so my original diff breather tube fitting simply unscrews and is replaced by the push-on hose fitting ...

I bought a little hand pump from an auto store here in Adelaide, screws into the neck of all your usual oil containers (castrol, shell bottles etc.. up to 4L) and has a hose off to your diff... even a clever little clip to hold the end of the hose in the filler point! I think they're only about $10 ...

One idea I keep thinking of... you sound like you tow a camper and all the other gear - how about mounting one of those tall pipe style gas hot water / showers (I think they are an Aussie Camp Shower?) Seen them mounted on the A-frames of campers, but with my water in the 4wd and 3kg gas bottle in ...

Aftermarket GQ / GU Transfer Bash Plates - from where?
A couple of years back someone listed these on ebay and had a good source for them... where can I find something like this or similiar? My Mav LWB runs gearbox packers as well, but the transfer sits exposed. These were made of 3mm plate and bolted to existing holes in the chassis with threaded ...

I have a 12v power adaptor designed for a laptop... steps 12v up to 16v or 18v for the laptop. I recently scored a GQ Kaymar Bar (no swing-arms) on Ebay for $330 They are mighty strong, but does leave my 149L long range tank even more exposed without the hayman reese towbar under there The Kaymar towbar is even higher again so if you tow regularly a bigger dropped tow tongue is a definate ...

So what I can see from previous posts on new clutches... An Exedy Safari Tuff Clutch to suit a TD42 (NSK-6830ST) will fit straight up to what I have with the Petrol TB42 - correct? I'll make sure the flywheel is machined and go a new rear main seal at the same time. Thanks. Edit: Ok just noticed ...

Mav Clutch simply wearing out? UPDATE: Problem found...
92 Mav TB42 with 33's After a recent play weekend my clutch engaging height has appeared to change all of a sudden (perhaps... never noticed it so much before!) It's now only just engaging the clutch with my foot almost completely off the pedal where it even takes a lot to stall the engine with the ...

This is how I'd do it... basically you can use 1x 3-way switch or 2x individual switches to do the same job here providing they have independent switch-over. I'd use a Narva #68044 Change-Over Relay to facilitate powering the Light from my Auxillary battery when required in camp, but allowing the ...
