Re: Electric worm gear winch conversion

That´s right and is the reason I believe a 1:1 sprocket conversion will bring this winch to a faster pulling velocity. I already got a Charlynn H serie hydraulic motor to fit in, it´s a 2.8cu in unit, 914 max RPM@12gpm, max pressure is 1800 psi...Now I gotta find the sprocket sets and test this ...

Electric worm gear winch conversion

I just got a Ramsey RE8000 24V worm gear winch that I want to convert into hydraulic....stock electric motor spins at 2400 revs while a hydraulic motor is gonna make it at less than 1000 rpm. Divorced transfer case help

Can you help me identify what model this t-case is....it looks similar to a Rockwell T136, but I´m not completely sure of it, probably taken from a REO 6x6 military truck.

Will try to get better pictures tomorrow morning.

Hi Dave...well....we dont have any aftermarket for Isuzu here. But we`re closer to the states than you, so shipping it isn`t so expensive.

Rare thing about ARB prices. I dont understand it too.

I think these two darlington items plus a calmini 3" kit should work fine for getting real raised rodeo ...

I use 15W40 in my MUA, and works good, that`s what say the book. When you fill with thick gear oil (ex: 80W90) the gearbox shifts hard.
For diffs I use 80W90 + LSD lube `cause I have one inside the rear axle. The front diff only gear oil.

I wonder if somebody have tried other oils like Mobilgear ...
