Same noise I had in a GQ wagon. It was the body mounts. Didn't bother replacing just put another washer on and re-tightened. All good and didn't happen again right up till I sold it many years latter.

Pretty much same as above, over 100kph it's high. Over Easter travelled approx 600k's on 90l with about a ton on the back at around 90kph. Sounds slow and it felt it but that's about 18mpg in old figures so was very happy with that. It also included some very soft sand.

I've fitted an air compressor and tank to the patrol. I recall magnum compressors (now liquidated) had a small cheap water trap you could put inline. Does anyone know of a source for these type of units???
