Exactly the same on my GU with 315/75/16s, noise drops off considerably either side of 80.
Have done 9000 on mine with (so far) minimal wear.

Cut up the 100x100x10 equal angle tonight.
Prepped it, put it together, tacked it then welded the inside with a couple of passes.
Will flip it over tomorrow and back grind and fully weld it from the outside.
Once its been all fitted up and trialled I'll be drilling a heap of 35mm along the neutral ...

2-4mm would be better material choices because the 1.5mm will fod lit a tin can if it hits anything.

what thickness is the C channel, it looks thin?
The C is 1.5mm which will be plenty for the bumpers. Its ideal because its lightweight and has nice preformed radiussed corners.
There will be a 100x100x10 angle running full width to support the bumper and to mount the wheel carrier. The aluminium ...

RRP for 315/75/16 is mid 400s I think
Mate was quoted $475 on the weekend for 315's.
Must be nice being related :(
That sounds on the high side.
Family pricing rocks

Just had these fitted to the GU. Have only done the 400km blacktop drive home but first impression is that the radio volume needs to go up a couple of notches compared to the FC2s.

Spoke to Hoon this arvo and he told me that Huddy had rolled (3 or 4 times) at speed and there is no injuries but the car is a mess (Pete said " fukced "). Don't know if the roll puts them out. No other info except that Hoon is still running.

Driving to the Hill in the morning for a weekend of spectating.
Good luck to all.
Sounds like a thin field this year though.

Should make Sunday an early finish.

This year its at the Racecourse not the quarry - something new.
