There is a plate with 4 bolts that the the shifter mechanism is attached to but taking out those bolts isnt letting the mechanism come away from the box. What do ...

The mounts im using started of much larger and im gradually grinding them down, the motor sitting lower and lower as i grind them down. I did measure the crankshaft to chassis height on a ...

Hilux V8, Height of Engine?
Fitting a 253 into an '83 Hilux. Im making my own mounts and am looking for info on where the motor should sit in relation to the chassis, eg a measuerment from somewhere on the engine to somewhere on the chassis. I didnt think to measure the crankshaft to chassis before i pulled the old engine out.

MQ Headlight Relay Location?
Just bought an MQ Patrol and the headlights dont work, I've traced the problem to a relay under the bonnet however this relay looks like it was fitted by someone at some stage as the original loom has been spliced into. Where did the factory relay sit, under the dash or under the bonnet? This relay ...

Lux swivel hub shims?
Just stripped the front diff in a RN46 to do the hub bearings and the shims that were in there were different top and bottom. Both left and right upper shims were 0.3mm and both bottom shims were 1.0mm. Is this normal? I don't know the history of the car so don't know if this is factory fitment or ...
