Are we talking positive displacement or centrifugal superchargers?

Drew off here had/has a twin-charged (one of each) 4AGZE in his Zook which from all accounts was an animal.

Whats wrong with it?? Why is it soo cheap?? Parko has scored a mining gig in WA and is moving the family over there Dex you should buy that! My back yard is already a place where functioning 4WDs go to die. Don't encourage me. I'd be lying if I said I didn't think about it for a second though. :D

I seem to remember reading that Interco acquired some of Denman's molds when they went belly up.

Haha anyone remember Fergo's GQ ute with Groundhawgs? Thing was cooler than a polar bear's bawls!

For $2500 that truck is a steal. It used to be red right?

Re: Time to modify my little red wagon .. Link material ?

32NB sleeved with 25NB. You'd have trouble breaking them in a zook. Or you could always go the 50x50x4 SHS route. Looks a little nasty but is cheap and strong.

That's exactly how Mud_Muncher's was set up. ( I think Mud Muncher's was Robocops) It kept having to lie down for little naps once it came down South. It now runs less suspension lift and no BL, and more tyre. Shocks are the same length from memory so it has the same flex. It flexes OK for what it ...

I've had a 4age powered SWB and have a 4agze and auto in the shed waiting to go into my LWB. If I was to start from scratch I'd probably just go with the g16 mpfi swap. It's been done a million times and has heaps of power for a zook.

Just to clarify, that truck is strictly speaking a semi-elliptic setup due to the leaf running back to the chassis, however after a fair amount of discussion it was felt that it was better described as a quarter rather than three-quarter elliptic to avoid confusion. In terms of geometry it's ...

Try to get a coily one. Are you being serious? Just in case you are the coilys had horrible geometry and are generally a PITA to modify. Not to mention given the amount of $$ he's going to have to spend to get 37s under it and chop the back off, he's way better off finding the cheapest shitter he ...

Inspect the air and vacuum hoses around the intake for cracks. A mate had a similar problem; once he was on just the right angle the crack in the hose would open and he'd sputter and cough until he was back on level ground. Took him a while to find cause you couldn't see it normally. Just another ...

Wendle's buggies have all been made from NB, have been through many rollovers and generally get driven harder than most would push their rigs.

Not advocating using it but cage strength is more dependant on design than material IMO.

Re: Link lengths,is this long enough?

Have you thought about a 3-link + panhard for the front? There is a calculator for this as a front setup by the same guy off Pirate, Triaged. It's essentially the same thing with a few minor diffrences (anti-dive as opposed to anti-squat etc.) and again, is a great way to work out roughly where ...

How long are they? The longer they are the more prone to bending, so will need to be mo' butch or be reinforced.

I think the link calculator is an invaluable tool, however I reckon it should be more seen as a guide rather than an exact measurement. The fact that most of the results (squat, RA etc.) are based on the vehicle's centre of gravity and most people will just estimate where this point is renders a lot ...

Why do you (hiluxmad) need a divorced case? Why not just get an adapter for a lux or patrol case for the T700? Both have gearing available and are plenty strong enough to handle the output from the buick. If you're hell bent on going divorced, I'd second the LT230 call.
