I have a Trojan in my GQ for the aux, awesome batteries. 110a/hours and 820cca. Are a bit dearer about $200-$250 I think but well worth it, will run my engel 3 days withoutrecharging. Are are also a bit bigger than a N70zz, so depends how much room you got

You may find that the rails are ok, maybe you should have a look at the injectors. Had a mate who rebuilt his cruiser and was doin the same thing. May have something to do with being a fresh motor(compression)

HAVE YOU TRIED TAKING ONE OF YOUR BATTERY LEADS OFF (WITH EVERYTHING OFF) AND PUT A MULTIMETER ON AMPS IN CIRCUIT YOU MAY FIND THAT SOMETHING IS DRAWING POWER THAT YOU DONT KNOW OF. ALSO IF THE ALTERNATOR DIODES ARE PLAYING UP THEY WILL ALLOW POWER BACK THRU FLATTENING YOUR BATTERY! jUST A THOUGHT I ...
