what are you getting at ruff? is it because everyone thinks that they will turn easier with a locked front end by installing twin stick :rofl: :rofl: :rofl: or is there some other reason ? because i know that i could win any comp hands down simply by having twin sticks make ya car turn on a dime :D ...

40 ltr arb (engel ) with 20lt two zone on top giving me alot more flexability , i simply bought the engel over the waeco due too the inside layout , i didn't like the layout in the waeco (personal preference )
no dramas with the engel , would buy the same again .

ive currantly got a 4.5ltr gu patrol that i tow my zook with , but i want more power (torque) to make the trips a bit easier
ive got extractors , its an auto , running 35" mtrs with 4.3 gears . and runs on gas
i also use it for camping and obviously 4x4ing

my question is what would be my best ...

and again not everyone has air lockers

is that 645 before point adjustments or after ?

depends what you want it for

i voted larger , i have a gu patrol and a sierra , the patrol wins hands down for comfort , distance travel , power , on road handling , family duties , camping etc etc
the zook wins hands down for the more hardcore tracks , rocks , and fuel bills , in saying that ...

IF i was to go over the $1000 mark, what extra costs is there. as in is it just worth getting a few things for other people and paying the tax, as opposed to paying frieght on more items?? for example=== for a $2200 purchuse how much extra will i pay.

the 6.5 from low range seem pretty good , with my 35 claws 4.88 hilux diffs locked the gearing is spot on for crawling in 1st and 2nd and 3rd for hill climbs ,

id go the 6.5's again if i was building another one , sean is real good to deal with , and very fast frieght , just don't go over $1000aus ...

i rolled on devils decent (red zook with black exo cage ) just couldn't make the turn welded diffs and vit power steer wont get full lock with the lux diffs so i thought id check the tople angle , but that will change before nissan trials , but we than went on to get 100 on the water fall and 85-20 ...

even if he was using biggerstronger axles hes running 5.83 diff gears , the pinion would nearly fall out the diff seal :D but obviously it works for him as he said hes won car shows with it .
