I have a 73 Rangie, it has maxi lockers and axles. and runs 35's. I break Cv's pretty regularly. My question is were can i get some that dont break?

We have had CVs from Mick Garner in our Rangie for about 4 years, have competed at Superior all terrain and other comps , have broken every thing ...

I broke 7 Yuri's in about 2 year's, had a pair of Garners in there for 2 years, Destroyed the long side and the short side twisted the axle but the CV is fine and now a spare. Mind you when I broke the cv I also torn the H260 pinion out of the rear and was in 3rd gear full noise trying too drive ...

I have read that Surf Lifesaving Clubs were using electronic rust prevention on their 4wds that ran on the beach all day, at the time it seemed to be successful, and you can move this product onto your next project when the time comes

Has anyone tried the Aldi nailguns that are in the stores now ? , are they a "Brad" nail or a "T" nail ?, I think that is the correct terms for the nails as I need a T nail gun.

Have one of the aldi nail guns, used it to secure ply in an old van and it worked a treat, also used it on thin timber ...

We snapped the steering box off the Rangie on Saturday, managed to get it back in place with 2 bolts some chain , tensioned up from the winch.
Then DNFed on Sunday for driving out of course :cry:

I run one of these strombergs and it has stoped only once on an angle ,and that was so steep we were winching .
Have you tried to lower the float level a few milimeters ?

The Rover twin carbs will run at any angle
