It looks like all the rust stuff is covered here, when it comes to doors, firewall, body panels etc its all replaceable if need be anyway, as long as the chassis is good, even then rust repairs to some parts of the chassis wouldnt be to hard.

But to be honest i doubt there is a county out there ...

Im going to be using a GQ 5 speed box in my Land Rover, it already has a LT230 transfercase adapted to it to suit my setup but i am also going to be puting a LS1 in at the same time.

Yep, im pretty pleased with the buy, just gota get it here now! and yeh im very glad ive found a manual that will do the job, with the gen3 going in it was looking more and more likely i would be running a t700 behind it, I dont mind autos but manuals just a little more fun and easier to deal with ...

I got it for 950 on ebay, i contacted LRA they have another kit, the last one they have, there asking 2k for it inlcuding a good GQ gearbox,,..

It will probobly take some mods to fit a county after looking at mine, it will need the cross members modified pretty heavily, but im planning on bidding and putting it in mine behind the Gen3 :)

I'm going to firestone airbags front and rear in my rangie - hoping parts arrive tomorrow.

Firestone assembly W01 358 5429 (airbag 1T14C-8) has compressed height of 175mm (6.9") and extended length of 566mm (22.3"), 168mm diameter.

i wouldnt mind running something like that aswell, but they would have to be very long at full extension and still be able to tuck well... i doubt there will be many bags that would be suited to that.

This is the gen3 LS1, not the old cast iron 350, they use a 12in clutch and the ring gear is huge, it doesnt fit in the 350 adapter, otherwise it would all bolt together minus 1 bolt in the adapter plate, which is what i had been told it should do, but it seems theres no flywheel to suit(that i know ...
