has anybody checked and adjusted the tappet clearance on the 4M40 motor?
if so, is it worth doing myself or get someone to do it. they run solid shims that would need replacing if clearance out.
i have been quoted anything from $90 to $250 for adjustment, depending on number of shims req.
also quoted $400 for injector service.
how do these prices sound?
car has done 126,000km and has not had the valves(or anything else) adjusted since i got it with 57000km on.
